Monkeys Fighting Robots

This series will be a brief, semi-comedic review of the CW superhero shows. You can check out last week’s review post here. The only shows discussed will be ‘Arrow’, ‘Flash’, and ‘Supergirl’. There WILL be some spoilers discussed, so only look at the reviews you’re up to date on!

2. The Flash, “Girls Night Out” (Nov 7th)

The Flash tackles feminism this week, by saying that… being a stripper… but also a writer… is… MAYBE feminist? To the surprise of no one, adding strippers to a story is not a smart move. The entire plot of Barry and the Boys going out for a “REAL bachelor party” is a storyline that’s been stale since THE HANGOVER 2. We get it, Ralph-Stretch-Man is a sleazy guy. Thankfully, the ladies get a solid story of busting a meta crime lord & her teardrop drugs. Killer Frost is always an interesting character to play around with, and it (almost) saves the episode.
