Video: Director Patty Jenkins Discusses ‘Wonder Woman’ Fight Scenes

DC All Access caught up with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins at CinemaCon and just released the interview for the first time. In the video below Jenkins discusses the unique fight scenes that we’ll see from Wonder Woman and the chemistry between Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. From what the director states, we should expect one of the most genuine romances in recent cinema history.

Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Connie Nielsen (Hippolyta), Lucy Davis (Etta Candy), Robin Wright (Antiope), David Thewlis (Ares). Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Elena Anaya, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Ann Wolfe will also star. The film will land in theaters on June 2, 2017!
