The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has kicked the live audience out, and let the streaming world in. The 89th Oscar Nominations will be announced via a global live stream, on Tuesday, January 24, beginning at 8:18 a.m. EST. Jennifer Hudson, Brie Larson, Emmanuel Lubezki, Jason Reitman and Ken Watanabe will join Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs to reveal the nominations.
Jimmy Kimmel will host the Oscars live on Sunday, February 26, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised by the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m. ET.
